Night & Day Studios is a very impressive company, and I can say with confidence that I will be making app purchases from them in the future. Older kids can practice spelling the animal names and can also learn lessons about the seasons with this app. The images are captivating, the activity is fun, but there is an air of quiet about it…it’s like you are in a forest! This is also an app that will grow with your child. When you tap on them, they come out of hiding! In my opinions, this is a very calming app. There are hidden animals that you will see moving around a little bit. Basically, it has several gorgeous illustrations of forest scenes throughout the seasons. The second app we reviewed is called Peekaboo Forest. While I don’t think an app is every bit as good as a live class, it certainly is a fantastic alternative! Thank you so much, Night & Day Studios! I want to put Darah into a Kindermusik class, but that’s not possible right now, financially. Pretty awesome, right? They also have musical instruments that you can select and “play” during the song, which makes listening to music so much more than a passive activity! I just can’t say enough how much I love this app. Each song that is played has the lyrics and a suggested activity for an adult to do with the child that relates to that song. No big deal, though! There are 5 stations to choose from, and over 100 songs in rotation (this is something I’d like to see expanded, and I’d be willing to pay a bit more to have an even larger song selection). The music is playing live, so when you choose a station, you may be in the middle of a song. Think of this as a Pandora radio for kids. If you have a child 6 or under and you have an iPhone, this might be the best $1.99 you could spend. The quality of their products is first rate.įirst up, Kindermusik. They put out all sorts of great stuff for kids and for grown ups! I had the chance to review two apps for children, and based on my experience with those, I wouldn’t hesitate for a second to get any other app from them. I have been having a blast, and have really been blown away by the amazing stuff that is out there, especially for kids! Today I’m highlighting a company called Night & Day Studios. I hope you all are enjoying the app reviews I have been doing.
